Card Design: Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge #7-Second Card

Hello all my lovely friends, followers and readers!  Thank you so much for all your many well wishes during the last few days as I battle this virus that has invaded my system.  Today, the vice around my head isn't quite so tight, I now feel like I'm gargling sand instead of glass and it no longer feel like I am going to cough up a lung.  Unfortunately, or fortunately in the case of my husband, I haven't had a voice for three days now.  I am also still very tired and extremely weak.  However, all that being said, I do believe that I'm starting the climb back up hill into wellness.  It has been almost two weeks since my husband first got sick and he is still feeling the lingering effects, so I know this will not disappear over night and that I'll be going back and forth in my journey to recovery.  It is just nice to be able to sit upright for a little longer.

Now I had to come online tonight because I MUST get my second card uploaded into the Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge. Once again though, I will simply be providing just the basics and only the front of the card and will post the details and the inside when I am feeling better.

Our lovely sponsor for this month is Nana Vic Digitals.  This is what I have come up with for my second card...

The sentiment is from San's Design.

Here is a closer look at Santa in all his sparkly goodness...

So, another Christmas card complete and just in time for uploading it.  I'll be back as soon as I can with all the details.

Until next time,

  4. How cute! I love your papers you used. The red Swiss dot paper is perfect. It gives the card an extra boast. Love the pearls. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown

  5. Ohhh how I love the sparkly goodness Original. I knew you weren't feeling well, but it seems that the update indicates times are looking better. I'm happy you're able to be upright a little more now and I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful cards too. This one takes the cake. I have a soft spot for images that have a vintage feel to them. :)
hugs to you and happy weekend.

  6. Hi, Lisa, so glad you are beginning to feel a little better. Maybe now each day will find you with greater strength and well-being. This little Santa is cute! Love your colors, shading and bling! I cannot decide if he is going to plant the Christmas Tree, or use it as an umbrella while he vacations at a Florida beach, or if it is reallly a giant lollipop waiting to be devoured! (smile - I can't HELP myself - it's just the way my imagination works!) LOL Thank you for sharing your sweet card - love the round sentiment! hugs, de
