It's time to check out Fresh Brewed Designs New Digital Stamps for February.

I am so excited to share my project with you.  My card features the NEW DIGI

CUTIE BUG CONE from this month's release.

Check out what I made... 

General Comments: 

• The main elements of the card were put together digitally.  The main image on the front remained as line art and then I coloured it once it was printed.  The front and the inside were cut out and then layered onto the card base, leaving the card base to serve as a bit of a background for a little extra depth.
• Embellishments and ribbon were added to also provide a bit more depth.

FRONT

Image Details:

• Cutie Bug Cone:  One of the great new releases available today.  Head on over to the Blog and Store to check them all out!  Click HERE to find them in the store. 
• I have coloured this image with Copic markers and chalk.  It is a bit funny because I sat and debated on what colours to do the bug in.  I tried to get some advice from the hubs but he is more of a literal thinker and was thinking in bug colours.  I wanted my Cutie to be a bit more fantasy based and wondered, "I wonder if a pink bug would be okay."  Then I come over here and really pay attention to the colour of the bug in the badge and it happens to be pink too.  I swear it is a total cowinkeedink.  Heather and I just apparently have a thing for pink bugs!

Embellishments:

• The ribbon is Offray brand from Michael's.
• The half pearls are Crafts brand from Dollarama.

INSIDE

Sentiment Details:

• Just one I whipped up that worked well with the image and as a thank you sentiment.

Digital Embellishments:

• The frame was created using a shape and a layer style from Shelby Kate Schmitz of graphicssoft.about.com.

OVERALL

• Card base: Michael's Recollection's cardstock, red.

Digital Papers: 

• Between the front and the inside, I used four fabulous digital papers created by Kris B. from Imagine That Digis.  All of these sweet papers are from her digital paper pack called "Ticket to Bliss".  Kris has some absolutely fabulous papers along with a wonderful selection of images.  To purchase this particular paper pack, click on the watermark you see below.
