Card Design: Pattie's Creations Challenge #160…Food/Drink

http://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.ca

Hello there everyone! I'm back here today to announce the next challenge over at Pattie's Creations Design Challenge. This time around for Challenge #160, the theme is Food and/or Drink. We all need to eat and drink and there are so many incredible images out there to use for these categories. Whether you go hot or cold, show us what you can come up with using food and/or beverages in your project.

General Project Info:
  • This card has been created 100% digitally and then layered in a Mock Up (courtesy of Frisk Shop). I will print it out and assemble it a later date.

Digital Images Details:

    • I also used a textured paper under the lace paper. This paper is from the Baking with Mom Ethereal Textures set available on The CoffeeShop Blog.
    • the petals and middle of the flowers were created with gradients.

Happy Independence Day!!!

It is still the Fourth of July for a few hours yet and that means that all my wonderful American friends, followers and readers are celebrating Independence Day today. As promised on Monday, here is another freebie--this time in honour of the good 'ole U.S. of A.

Since I used a hat with a maple leaf and a heart for the Canada Day paper, I decided to stick with the same type of theme as today's paper also features a hat and heart only this time with stars and stripes, which of course, can be found on the American flag. Check it out...

This digital paper is one that will become part of the Spirit of America kit that I am working on. It is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Digitalartsi (The Hungry JPEG) and The CoffeeShop Blog. Full credits in the file. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Well folks, that is it for this one. I will be back in a few hours to announce the newest challenge over at Pattie's Creations!

Until next time,

Happy Canada Day!

I've been away from home for several days and I know that today will soon be over but I didn't want to let this day go by without saying…

H A P P Y   C A N A D A   D A Y!

To all my fellow Canadians out there!!!

In between catching up on everything I've missed this past week, I took the time to create a freebie in honour of the birthday of this amazing country that I am blessed to call home…
