Wonderful Wednesdays--Offerings for May & June

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE

Hello peeps.  Man can you believe that it is the last Wednesday in June already?!!  In just a few short days, half a year will be gone.  I swear the older I get, the faster time goes by.  Last year went by quick enough but this year seems to be in super speed mode!!!

Now I apologize that I wasn't able to get out an offering for May but to make up for it, I've added it here today.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the May and June kits by clicking on the respective links below:

MAY 2013
  • The word May done up in a coloured floral format and one floral paper done up in five different formats:  Click HERE.
  • A floral element and a word art creation offered up in black and then in colour, plus bonus date stamp:  Click HERE.
JUNE 2013
  • The word June offered up alone and with several different graduate type elements (caps, diplomas, grads, etc.)  and a grad cap paper offered up in five different formats.  Click HERE.
  • A paper with the word 'graduate' written across it offered in two different colour options and four different word art creations offered in two different colours, plus bonus date stamp.  Click HERE.

Neither kit had a name so we'll just call the May kit, Spring Blooms, and the June Kit, Graduation Time.

So, first up I made a set of flower buttons...

These buttons are approx. 610 pixels x 663 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used a template from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper.

Next, here are the items I made for the June Kit.  I created the expression 'class of...' for the years 2015-2017 and am offering them up in three different colours...

While they may appear to be different sizes in the preview, it is only for the sake of space.  Each word art creation is the same size, approx. 1950 pixels x 900 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used resources from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper, for the creation of these as well.

Full credit info is in each of the files.  To grab these creations, click the respective download buttons to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folders you will find a copy of the creation, their preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Finally, you can find your bonus stamps for May and June below.  You can just left click on these ones to bring them up in the lightbox and then right click to save them in their original size which is approx. 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).

Oh and I realized I made a boo-boo with April's stamp.  I left it at 31 instead of 30.  Ooops!  I've added the correct version to the April post but am also including it here as well...

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month!

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Fabulous Florals and Winsome Words for May Kit

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

It is time for the final two offerings of the May kit.  First up we have a Fabulous Flower.
It is in png format and 300 dpi.  The original size is rather large.  I believe it measures somewhere around four by four inches but you can definitely resize it smaller on your own without distorting the quality.

I've also thrown some Winsome Words into this month's kit with the simple expression,"Life in Full Bloom".

I've offered it in colour and black/grey. Both are in png format and 300 dpi.

Hope you like my final offerings for this month's kit and can find some use for them.  If you missed the first items you can go HERE.  To find items from previous kits look for Wonderful Wednesdays or look under the individual names of the month, i.e. January Kit in the label section.  If you create a project using one of these images or any of the images I create, I'd love to see them and post them into the 'Your Gallery' portion of the blog.

Next month brings with it a whole new theme of which I haven't decided on yet.  However, given there are just a few days left in May I better figure it out soon.

Until next time,

Wonderful Wednesdays: Lovely Lettering and Paper Play for the May Kit

If you are new to my blog and would like to know how Wonderful Wednesdays got started, please click HERE.

~WARNING: Picture Heavy~

I'd say it is time for a Wonderful Wednesday, wouldn't you?  Since in May many of us on this side of the world start to see new growth and the first sign of flowers beginning to bloom, I thought it wise to make the focus for this month's kit all about spring blooms.  Of course I'm playing serious catch up here so let's start off with Lovely Lettering for May...
Now I had truly intended on making a few different options with different fonts but when I found this particular font I thought to myself, "Self, wouldn't this be amazing if I coloured it all up?"  Well, self is crazy because it took me over three hours to do it.  Hence the reason you are only getting one.  The original image was 1500 px wide but I thought that was way too big so I'm offering it here at 600 px wide.  You can always make it smaller without distorting it.  I REALLY hope someone out there likes it.

Next, it is time for some paper play...

I coloured up this floral template in Photoshop Essentials 5 then imported it into Inkscape and played around with a few different filters making each print a unique creation.  Then went back into PE5 and played around with a few different filters there to create a couple more interesting versions giving the papers some texture.  To see them better, click on them to bring them up in the lightbox.  I'll start off with the original, then show you the rest.

Each paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels and in jpg format.

I'd love to see what you come up with if you use anything I create on any of your projects.  Next week I'll present the remaining two items for this month's kit.

Until next time,
