Scribbles Designs Winner Announcement for Challenge #7 + New Releases

Howdy everyone.  Hope this Saturday finds you all well.  It has been over two weeks now and I'm still battling the effects of this nasty virus.  I remain hopeful that it will dissipate soon.  Thank you for all your concern, well wishes and cyber hugs.  They really have meant the world to me.

In case you have missed it, the winners for Challenge #7:  Celebrate the Nation have been picked and posted over on the challenge blog.  If you entered this challenge and haven't checked already, make sure you head on over and see if you are our Top Scribbler, are part of our Top Three or whether you may have won any other goodies.
The Top Scribbler, chosen by Random.org, will receive 3 digital images.  Each of the Top 3, chosen by the Scribbles Designs Design Team, will receive 1 digital image each.  Then we also have a winner for our sponsored prize from Bugaboo and another project receiving a special gold star.  Lots of treats to go around.  So hopefully you had the chance to claim them if you entered.

Right now we have our latest challenge going on.  The theme this month is Clean and Simple (CAS)You have until the 14th of September to get your entries in.  Don't forget you no longer need to use an SD image so there is nothing holding you back.   You can find out all the details you need for participating by clicking HERE.
Today, I have another image to share with all of you.  BBQ season is in full swing; so, now is the perfect time to pick up your BBQ apron.  It is perfect for all those invites or meal time thank you cards.  It is also great for any masculine card in general.

Will you be barbecuing tonight or sometime this weekend?  While we no longer own a BBQ, I do have many fond memories of Saturday nights just like this one.  When I was young, growing up and living in southern Ontario with my parents, every Saturday night we'd have steak and baked potatoes, carrots and onions all cooked on the BBQ.  Rain or shine, winter or summer; it didn't matter, as my poppa would just open up the garage door and BBQ inside.  These are the times I would have long discussions about things going on in my life or just chat in general with my dad BBQ side, as he cooked our supper.  This image will be perfect for a card to send to my dad thanking him for all those special memories I still carry with me.

Do you know any avid grillers?  A husband, your own father or another special man perhaps?  Or is there a special female in your life responsible for putting BBQ'd food on the table?  Whoever actually does the grilling, would love to receive a card with this special digi on it.
So, why not head to the store and grab the image while it is fresh in your mind.  Psst...don't forget to stop by the current challenge post and grab another great freebie available for a limited time by clicking HERE.

I hope you will join me tomorrow as I unveil my midway card for the current challenge.

Until then...

I think I'm now the avid griller Lisa! I learned how this summer at 57 and am in love with it! A friend showed me how to do with with Apple Shavings as Smoke Flavour and I just love the difference it makes in the food! I am looking forward to your midway card... xox and love, Samara
