On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918, the battlefields drew quiet as the hostilities ceased. Thus bringing an end to World War I, 101 years ago today.
Each of us living in Commonwealth countries around the world, should take a moment today to remember and honour those who have bravely fought in ALL wars to help keep the peace and keep us safe.
Each year I try to honour this day in my own small way with something special. Here is a digital paper I created for anyone interested.
This digital paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. I've used resources from Pexels (Pixabay), Shadowhouse Creations and The Coffee Shop Blog. Full credits in the file. To grab it, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the full credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.
MAY WE NEVER FORGET!

Great paper, thanks for sharing Lisa. You are so right...we should always remember.
Thanks for the paper Lisa. It is a wonderful paper. I didn't have anyone in my family fighting in World War 1 - they were either too young or too old - but I did have one in World War 2.
Thank you Lisa for the beautiful digital papers you create and this collection for such a great honored day, hugs, Lori m
