http://nicecranedesigns.com/

Hello there folks.  I'm popping in to share a few things with you today, all centred around Nicecrane Designs.

First off, if you are a fan of vintage design and are looking to possibly join a new team, Ignacio is looking to add to his group of designers.  If you are interested, just let me know and I will put you in touch with him.

Ignacio is also generously offering up a freebie for me to share with all my wonderful readers--that's you guys!

This great freebie is from the Vintage Peter Rabbit Library Cards set.  The freebie is the one with Peter Rabbit himself (enlarged on right side of preview below).

Now on to my project....

I just love the Adorable Fairies set.  For a while now, I've been wanting to create a set of brads using these images and I have finally pulled it off.

If you like this set of brads and would like to own them for free, simply leave me a comment with the following info:
  • The name of your favourite set from any in the Fairy Tales and Angels section of the Nicecrane Designs store. Click HERE for the direct link to that specific section.
  • Of course if I don't already have your email address, you'll need to provide me with some way to contact you.
That is it, that is all.  I look forward to seeing what your favourite sets are.

Card Design: Imagine That...Elegant Ornaments

Good evening all!  It is time to show you my final Imagine That! Digis by Kris project for June.

General Info:

  • From the first moment I saw the sets discussed below in Kris' store well over a year ago, I knew that one day I just had to work with them.  I love both equally and thought they'd come together to make something elegant.  Today I'm showing you the first card I have made but I plan on making many more with this set!
  • I thought that keeping everything black and white kept a certain elegance to the card.  I also wanted the focus on the paper and the image, so I kept the layout very clean and simple.
  • This card has been created 100% digitally and then printed and assembled.
  • Woop!  Woop!  One more card added to the Christmas Card Pot.
Christmas Cards to date for 2015:  15

Card Design: Deedee's Digi of the Month Challenge...June

Progressive Freebie Challenge!
Hey there and a happy Thursday night to you all!  It is time to post my project for the Digi of the Month Challenge taking place over at Deedee's Digis.

In order to enter the progressive challenge, you must either have received the latest image by having participated in the previous month or you can buy the stamp for the current month's challenge.  Everyone who enters and follows the rules is a winner because you automatically get the stamp for the next month's challenge.  Stop by the site and check out the rules for yourself.  Be sure to check out the store while you are there too.  Currently there are a few sets available for free and of course there are some wonderful ones available for purchase in the store.

As of this month, all customers are now able to download directly, regardless of whether they live in the European Union or not!  So, now there will only be one link to each item.

Right now it is time to check out the awesome set participants got to work with this month...

Diver Daniel is such a sweet little guy.  I love that he comes in two different poses and there is even a fish and a mini coral reef included in the set.  All of these elements help to provide such versatility to the sets.  As always, Deedee's sets come with both outline and coloured versions to provide you with even more variety.  If you did not participate in last month's challenge, you can still purchase this set for just $1.25 during the month of June at the store. You can find it HERE.

Wonderful Wednesdays--Offerings for May & June

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE

Hello peeps.  Man can you believe that it is the last Wednesday in June already?!!  In just a few short days, half a year will be gone.  I swear the older I get, the faster time goes by.  Last year went by quick enough but this year seems to be in super speed mode!!!

Now I apologize that I wasn't able to get out an offering for May but to make up for it, I've added it here today.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the May and June kits by clicking on the respective links below:

MAY 2013
  • The word May done up in a coloured floral format and one floral paper done up in five different formats:  Click HERE.
  • A floral element and a word art creation offered up in black and then in colour, plus bonus date stamp:  Click HERE.
JUNE 2013
  • The word June offered up alone and with several different graduate type elements (caps, diplomas, grads, etc.)  and a grad cap paper offered up in five different formats.  Click HERE.
  • A paper with the word 'graduate' written across it offered in two different colour options and four different word art creations offered in two different colours, plus bonus date stamp.  Click HERE.

Neither kit had a name so we'll just call the May kit, Spring Blooms, and the June Kit, Graduation Time.

So, first up I made a set of flower buttons...

These buttons are approx. 610 pixels x 663 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used a template from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper.

Next, here are the items I made for the June Kit.  I created the expression 'class of...' for the years 2015-2017 and am offering them up in three different colours...

While they may appear to be different sizes in the preview, it is only for the sake of space.  Each word art creation is the same size, approx. 1950 pixels x 900 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used resources from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper, for the creation of these as well.

Full credit info is in each of the files.  To grab these creations, click the respective download buttons to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folders you will find a copy of the creation, their preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Finally, you can find your bonus stamps for May and June below.  You can just left click on these ones to bring them up in the lightbox and then right click to save them in their original size which is approx. 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).

Oh and I realized I made a boo-boo with April's stamp.  I left it at 31 instead of 30.  Ooops!  I've added the correct version to the April post but am also including it here as well...

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month!

Until next time,
