The 12 Days of Christmas Quest: Day Nine

Hello to all of you on this first Thursday of a new year! I hope that you are off to a wonderful start as the hustle and bustle of the new year begins!

It is the ninth day of Christmas and it is time to continue the quest. If you missed day one click HERE to start from the beginning and read all the details.

Day two: click HERE
Day three: click HERE
Day four: click HERE
Day five: click HERE
Day six: click HERE
Day seven: click HERE
Day eight: click HERE

As a quick refresher, each day during the 12 Days of Christmas (Dec. 25th to Jan. 5th), you're going to be given a task to follow. Each day over the next 12 days, I'll be asking you questions to find out a little bit more about you as a designer. You will be able to leave your daily answer in a comment on the post for each respective day. If you follow the instructions for each day, you'll earn a free digital paper.

Since this is a busy time of year for most people, you will have plenty of time to complete the quest. It is completely up to you as to when you submit your answers (daily, all at once at the end, or otherwise). AS LONG AS ALL your TASKS are submitted, no later than January 12th, 2020, then you will qualify to receive the paper(s) for whichever day(s) you participate.

Today's paper is for all my friends and followers who happen to live in the Southern Hemisphere or other more warmer climates where there isn't or is very rarely any snow.  Here is the paper up for grabs today...

This paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. Credits include: TL Digital (via Creative Fabrica) and Rita from The CoffeeShop Blog. In the zip folder that will be emailed should you successfully complete the quest, you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Play along each of the 12 days and you'll earn yourself the full set! So, how about we get started with today's clue!!!

On the ninth day of Christmas,
it is time to earn paper number nine.
We're nine days in, just three more to go,
All in all, I think it is going just fine!!!

Task:
What are your FAVOURITE STORES TO PURCHASE CARD MAKING SUPPLIES FROM?

Unfortunately, I'm kinda limited for choices where I live. We really only have one have decent store and that is a Michael's Craft Store. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely grateful that we even have a Michael's up here but it would be nice sometimes to have different choices. I can get a few general supplies like stickers and ribbon a bit cheaper at our local Dollar Store and I have picked up a thing or two at Walmart in the past as well. For a while there, the workers at Michaels knew my name I was in there so often but with not having time to make many cards in the last two years, I haven't been in a while. Probably a good thing for my pocket book. 😜 I know that there are some online stores but living up in Canada, I'm not about to pay through the roof for duty so for now I'll stick with the few local stores I've got.

When you come up with a response for today's task, simply leave your FAVOURITE CARD MAKING SUPPLIES STORE(S) LIST in a comment on THIS POST. Now for many of you, especially those who have played in previous years, the odds are that I should have your e-mail address in order to send out the free paper you earn. If you are new to the quest or are not sure whether I might have your email address, please be sure to also leave your email address in your comment. If you would prefer to keep your address private, then check out the bottom paragraph from Day 1 for how to send it to me.

Wishing you bright days ahead in 2020! See you all tomorrow for day number ten!!!

Cheers!

I mainly purchase items at Craft Shows and Bricks and Mortar shops. My favourite shop at Craft Shows is Kalsbeek and my favourite store would be Memory Crafts which is about a couple of hours drive away so not visited that often.

Lisa, beautiful digi paper.

My favorite store is Joanne Fabrics, it's a close to me store, and my family can purchase gift cards or pick up crafty gifts easily for me.

Hugs, Lori m

We have a Michael's and a Hobby Lobby in our town. We used to have an independent craft store but they have all closed now. If it's something that I can get at Hobby Lobby and Michael's I prefer to get it there because No shipping and I can use a coupon. For things that I can't get at the local store I have a tendency to buy online and try to wait for sales. Some of my favorite online have been Simon Says Stamps and My Favorite Things.

I have to admit I have more crafty stuff than I will ever use in my lifetime. I have so much paper I have bought only a very small amount over the last 2 years. Everything I have is organised and categorised so I can easily find it. That means I now only buy paper with purpose and not mindlessly like I used to do.

I mainly buy dies now to enhance my crafting. I usually buy in the sales from Crafter's Companion and a bookstore called The Works who have started doing their own range of crafty supplies. They have a limited choice but what they do have is inexpensive.

I was very lucky to visit a store whilst ion holiday on Penzance that had an amazing selection on sale and they were all less than half price :)

Buying supplies are rather challenging as Im from Asia. I order mostly from European Co as their stamps are larger that fit my journal pages. Mostly from Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. Their stamps are extremely unusual and quirky so are their stencils. Coloring mediums are mostly from the US. Joggles, Simon Says Stamps, Scrapbooking.com and Blitsy are my favorite US online stores.
