The 12 Days of Christmas Quest: Day Ten

Hello everyone! It is the tenth day of Christmas and it is time to continue the quest. Can you believe there are just two days to go after this one?!

If you missed day one click HERE to start from the beginning and read all the details.

Day seven: click HERE
 Day eight: click HERE
Day nine: click HERE

As a quick refresher, each day during the 12 Days of Christmas (Dec. 25th to Jan. 5th), you're going to be given a task to follow. Each day over the next 12 days, I'll be asking you questions to find out a little bit more about you as a designer. You will be able to leave your daily answer in a comment on the post for each respective day. If you follow the instructions for each day, you'll earn a free digital paper.

Since this is a busy time of year for most people, you will have plenty of time to complete the quest. It is completely up to you as to when you submit your answers (daily, all at once at the end, or otherwise). AS LONG AS ALL your TASKS are submitted, no later than January 12th, 2020, then you will qualify to receive the paper(s) for whichever day(s) you participate.

Here is the paper up for grabs today...

This paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. In the zip folder that will be emailed should you successfully complete the quest, you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Play along each of the 12 days and you'll earn yourself the full set! So, how about we get started with today's clue!!!

On the tenth day of Christmas,
it is time to earn paper number ten.
I'm running out of things to say, so I'll just say,
good tidings to all animals, children,

women & men!!!

Task:
Do you have any FAVOURITE STAMPS (whether digi or otherwise), DIGI PAPERS, PATTERNED PAPER PACK, BORDERS, PUNCHES, EMBOSSING FOLDERS, DIE CUT TEMPLATES, ETC. THAT YOU GO BACK TO OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

For myself, this is a bit harder to answer since I'm not making any cards by hand at the moment. In terms of my digi cards I have a couple go to patterns that I will use for certain elements like my sky and clouds background or my grass backgrounds. I probably also rely heavily on several digi sentiments that I've picked up over the years from Create With TLC! Paulette has so many wonderful sentiment stamps that I definitely rely on over and over again.

When you come up with a response for today's task, simply leave your FAVOURITE REPEATEDLY USED RESOURCES in a comment on THIS POST. Now for many of you, especially those who have played in previous years, the odds are that I should have your e-mail address in order to send out the free paper you earn. If you are new to the quest or are not sure whether I might have your email address, please be sure to also leave your email address in your comment. If you would prefer to keep your address private, then check out the bottom paragraph from Day 1 for how to send it to me.

May your travels this year be safe ones! See you all tomorrow for day number eleven!!!

Cheers!

This one is an easy one. The one thing that I go back to again and again is one of your earlier snowflake patterned Digi Papers.

Oh..oh...this is a good challenge...my favorite goodies are....

1. My dot and wood embossing folders. It seems I always go to those two.

2. Lisa your New Years Eve papers from a few years back with the clock gets used yearly for my Happy New Years cards.

3. Love my 1/8" Scor pal....with more and more power outages, I'm finding (new to me) ways to make my boxes and cards with no power or internet needed.

4. My list could go on and on, I thank everyone for the freebie Digi's and love each and everyone, they are all appreciated more than I can express.

This is it for me and thank you, I've had fun playing along, hugs, Lori m

Actually, yes I do have a particular embossing folder that I don't even put away anymore. The effeect it leaves on the paper reminds me of the old Bazzill textured paper with its nice soft texture and feel. It's amazing how even that one small change can affect the look of your card.

Yes I do. I go back to digital papers by Decosse's Dynamite Designs and Imagine That! for sentiments and papers. Bugaboo has the best digital images to use for what I need. Edwina Brown

I would have to say that it's my circle dies. They are very well loved and well used.

I never make 2 cards the same so there isn't really any one thing that I use more than anything else.

There is a particular pack of paper that is my go-to for men's cards which I have nearly used up. It has tiny prints in blues and browns and sports themed papers.

I've been pondering this one and looked at the list and thought how do you answer this question with so many things listed. But I now see that other answers aren't including them all so I'm breathing a sigh of relief. LOL! A lot of my digis come from Bugaboo. I have a lot of their digital images and I find they have a huge selection for all occasions. For quite a while I was hooked on My Favorite Things stamps but I have so many stamps that I've stopped buying real stamps unless I just feel I need something in particular. That hasn't happened for a while. One thing I use on cards ALL the time is dies. So I do have quite a few of those too. I reach for square, oval and rectangular dies all the time and I prefer the ones with a stitched border or cross stitch border for more interest.

My spellbinder set of nested circles is constantly coming back on cards and boxes.

My huge inventories of Spellbinder dies and Artistic Outpost stamps. What I love doing over and over again is heat embossing - LOVE watching the powder melt!

My Halloween stamps are played the most as I use them each year. I often repeatedly use Birds, Insects, Florals, Sun, Moon, Clouds, Marine Creatures, Houses, Outdoor Scenes to create my pages. My stencils are used very often.
