Here is my card, I hope that I haven't forgotten any important details:
General Info
- While this is a digital card for the moment. I do have plans on printing it out, assembling it and sending it to dear old dad. Let's just hope I get it done in time for Father's Day!
FRONT
Digital Image Details:
- Mens Tie Trio: The main image I've used is this cool set of ties. As each one is uniquely different, the image went great with the sentiment I chose for the inside. You can find it in Pattie's Etsy shop by clicking on the name or watermark linked below.
- The main parts of each of the ties have been paper pieced with digital papers created by Jeanine Baechtold, available at {Computer} Scrapbook.com. (see details below). I then simply coloured in the accent bits for each tie with complimentary colours.
INSIDE
Digital Sentiment Details:
- Both of these great sentiments are from Imagine That! Digis by Kris. The first one is part of the new Humphrey's Ties set and the second is from the Poolside Penguins set. Click on the respective watermarks below to find each of these sets in the IT store.
OVERALL
Digital Products:
- All of the digital products used (excluding sentiments) are from the Daddy's Day kit created by Jeanine Baechtold, available at {Computer} Scrapbook.com.
- Now is the perfect time to head over to {Computer} Scrapbook.com as ALL their scrapbooking kits are currently FREE. Not sure how long it will last so be sure to check them out.
- The shapes used for matting in behind the image and sentiment are simple shapes created in Photoshop Elements.
- The shadows to give each element some depth were created with a layer style from Sheila Reid, Pixel Scrapper.

You have until July 2nd to enter our challenge which should give you lots of time to get a creation completed that follows either a graduation or father's day theme. I really hope that you will be able to join us. Don't forget that along with all the typical rules that apply to the majority of challenges out there (please click HERE to become familiar with all the rules), you MUST USE A DIGITAL OR STAMPED IMAGE to qualify for the drawing (unless stated otherwise). We would absolutely love to see you use a Pattie's Creations (PC) image on your card, but you are allowed to use other images. If you do use a PC image, you will gain an extra entry in the draw and will have a better chance to WIN! You can enter twice per challenge and of course MUST follow all the challenge requirements that are posted for each challenge. Easy Peasy right!
Pop over to the challenge blog and check out what my fabulous teammates have offered up for inspiration. Oh and don't forget...Pattie offers up a new freebie the first Friday of the month and it will remain up for approximately two weeks; so, be sure to pop over and check it out as well!
Until next time,

Lisa,
I just love this card! You always amaze me... I am back from New Jersey and will be moving there soon. I love how you colored my image.
Hugs

Now that is a classy card - love how you did those ties and the colour scheme. A fabulous masculine card Lisa xoxox
Lisa - Hope you got it finished, Father's Day is this Sunday!! I am so far behind on commenting since Pattie was here for a week looking for a house.
Mostly all of my cards are digitally created, then printed out and mounted as one layer.
Anyway, the patterns you picked for the Ties are so cool!!
