Anyways, I would like to thank Lady Anne and Laurian for creating and allowing us the opportunity to participate in the progressive Christmas challenge. I would also like to thank the team for the amazing creative inspiration that they have provided us throughout this past year. I wish everyone involved with this challenge, much success in your future endeavours and hope to see you out and about in the blogiverse.
So here it is, my final LAPCC creation...
General Information:
- I created a strictly digital creation for now. However I do have plans to turn it into a physical card.
Digital Images:
- Snowman: This cute snowman image is of course from this month's sponsor, Oak Pond Creations.
- The image was coloured digitally in PSE5. Parts of the image were altered using layer styles from Shelby Kate Schmitz of graphicssoft.about.com.
- The background scene is from George Hodan, a photographer with PublicDomainPictures.net.
- The frame is a shape also from Shelby Kate Schmitz. It has been altered using one of her layer styles as well.
- The digital snowflakes are from the Brisk kit designed by Jeanine Baechtold a designer with ComputerScrapbook.com, available as a freebie.
Challenges I am entering:
- Lady Anne's Challenges -- Progressive Christmas Card Challenge #11
- http://digitallysweetchallenges.blogspot.ca/ -- Frosty the Snowman
- http://toptiptuesday.blogspot.ca/ -- Snowflakes
- http://lexiscreations.blogspot.ca/ (2E)-- Snow
- http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.ca/ -- Snowflakes
- http://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.ca/ -- Snowy Scene Within Image
- http://thegloryofchristmaschallenge.blogspot.de/ -- Snow
- http://www.lunagirlmoonbeams.com/ -- Blue Christmas
So there you go, no more progressive Christmas challenges--at least until I can find another or create my own. Okay, moving on to another possible creation and post. Now sure if I'll achieve my goal though, given the time. Wish me luck!

Great card. If you ever decide to start another challenge I would love to go in with you...
Brilliant - such a cheery little snowman and very funny creation. Nice one Lisa :-)

This digital design looks great, Lisa! Love what you did with this cute snowman from Oak Pond - he's got such a cute, happy gace!
Oh my goodness this is just gorgeous, and I absolutely LOVE it. Stunning picture and lovely words and just so perfect for a card, and then it´s even in my all time favourite color too, so it really is just perfect in my book.
That's just soooo cute! Love the sentiment that you have done and how about you join a DT for Christmas cards instead of creating your own challenge... or you could just use one or twice a month of DT cards with Christmas instead of the typical... I'm sure that you could make it work! that's what I did and I ended up with enough Christmas cards to actually sell a bunch lol
Wow! Lisa, this card is just too cute! I love the scene you created and the sentiment. I think it is more impressive because it is monochromic. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
Good morning Lisa,
I want to thank you for being such a wonderful part of our LAPCC during this year, it has been a pleasure to see what you have created each year. I shall miss doing this challenge myself. I have a group with Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim called Lady Anne's friends and I have a small group there where we have promised to make two cards each month and post them on the message board so we can all see them if this will help you at all *smile* Now about this last card, I love what you have created it looks fabulous all in blue and white, I will have to try that in the future so thank you for the inspiration.
Love ~ Lady Anne xx
