Happy October 1st!!! Since it is the start of a new month that also means that it is time for the midway for the latest Scribbles Designs Challenge to get started.
There are two whole weeks left for you to come on over and enter. In case you've missed it, the theme this time around for Challenge #33, is Good Luck! For many, September and October are a time of new beginnings. Many families have children headed back to grade school or high school. Others have grown children en-route to college or university. Then there are those who may be starting their first full time job or just moving into their very first apartment. These are all great reasons for wishing someone good luck. You may have another reason to share words of good fortune with another. Whatever the occasion, this month we want to see projects wishing someone you know good luck. Everyone could use wishes for a little good fortune now and then! Even our challenge number with its double threes is a sign of good luck according to some!
Entering is super simple! You do not need to use a Scribbles Designs image; however, if you do, your name gets entered into the draw twice. You can purchase your Scribbles Designs images HERE or you can also find one for a limited time on the challenge blog HERE. Also, be sure to check out our special Freebie Friday posts as it is another great way to build your Scribbles Designs collection. You can find the rest of the rules and information regarding winners in the sidebar on the challenge blog. You have until 9pm PST on October 14th to come over and play with us.
Here are my card and all the details...
General Information:
- I had seen a card designed by Joanna Munster over on the Inspired By Stamping blog that was pretty clean and simple. As it turns out, my teammate Sam did something very similar as well, when she showcased the image I used in a past Freebie Friday post. I just liked the look so much that I decided to case it.
FRONT
Digital Image Details:
- Butterfly Freebie: This great image is currently a freebie, as such I don't have a watermark for it so just click on the name to head to its location in the store.
- I coloured the image digitally and then layered it right on to the paper before I printed it.
Digital Sentiment Details:
- One I created and also added to the front before printing.

- This versatile sentiment was created by Paulette from Create with TLC. I picked it up as a freebie a while ago. For more great freebies, click HERE to go to Paulette's blog and to purchase some wonderful sets, click HERE to go to the store.
