Journal Pages: Imagine That...Journal Cards

If you happen to be a child of the 80s, you might recognize that song from Katrina and the Waves.  As I started thinking about this post, this song started flitting through my head.  I figured I'd stick it in yours as well. Hee, hee.

It happens to be the perfect song to be humming while taking a look at what is going on over at the Imagine That! Digis by Kris blog right now.  We are smack dab in the middle of summer (in the northern hemisphere anyway) and there is lots of sunshine all around.  That makes it the perfect time to celebrate one of summer's biggest gathering places--the beach!

So, even if you missed the posts earlier this week, you still have time to enter to win!

I had the pleasure of working with elements from each one of the sets in the new release when I put together a couple of  journal pages.  Kris' journal cards were perfect for getting some old summer memories down on 'paper'.  Check them out...

• I have used papers from the Beach Combers Digi Papers set for the background of both these pages and one as matting in behind the sentiment on the second page.  And of course, the journal cards in each came from the Beach Journal Cards set.  
• The umbrella on the first page is from the Beach Blanket Girl set, the string is from the Beach Journal Cards set and the image of the girl is from the Beach Floaty Girl set.
• The seashells and sand dollar images on the second page are from the Beach Girl Framed set, as is the sentiment.
