It
is time to post my project for the November, From the Heart Stamps (FTHS)
progressive stamp of the month challenge. In order to enter the progressive challenge, you
must either have received the latest image by having participated in the
previous month or you can buy the stamp for the current month's
challenge. Everyone
who enters and follows the rules is a winner because you
automatically get the stamp for the next month's challenge. Stop by the
site and check out the rules
for yourself. While you are there, have a look around. They have some
really awesome images.
Here are my card and details. I hope I haven't forgotten anything important...

Here are my card and details. I hope I haven't forgotten anything important...
General Information:
- When I was over at the blog looking for a possible layout, I happened to see a card in the store on the main page (where they scroll through a series of creations). When I saw the background that was used in this particular card, I thought it was really cool. Now I don't know if it is one of the FTHS Sketches or whether it is a paper that was designed that way, or one created by hand, but I took a stab at trying to recreate it on my one. The original one was various shades of yellow, and was the backdrop to a birthday card using Birthday Candle Birdbrain. Now, my recreation isn't exactly like the original but it is pretty close. So, thanks a bunch to Calypso, one of the FTHS DT members, for providing me with the inspiration to create this card!
- YaY,

FRONT
Digital Image Details:
Digital Image Details:
- The image on the front, Faithful Friends Angel Joy, is available for purchase over at From the Heart Stamps. Click HERE or on the watermarks below to go to its location in the store. It was coloured in mostly with Copic Markers, however, I did colour the ornaments in digitally. I also layered the image onto the blue background before printing it out. Originally I was going to fussy cut it but then figured there was no way I'd be able to cut out the inside of the halo, and thought it best to layer it before printing.
Embellishments:
- The little plastic shapes used are Crafts brand and were purchased at Dollarama. While it is hard to tell from the picture they are nice and shiny with an iridescent quality.
