Card Design: Imagine That...Egg Chick

http://www.imaginethatdigistamp.com/index.html
Holy cow!  Can anyone help me get the first two weeks of March back?!  I have no idea where they've gone.  I'm usually always busy and pushing deadlines but these past couple weeks have been ridiculous.  I am seriously behind in EVERYTHING!  So, I better get to presenting my first Imagine That! Digis by Kris project for March.

Here are my card and details.  Check it out...

General Details:

  • Today I'm showing you the Easter card that I made for one of my surrogate nieces, JoJo.  Kris has some fabulous new sets in the store that are perfect for all your Easter needs.  They even come with a small selection of matching papers!

FRONT
Digital Image Details:
  • Egg Chick: Isn't this image just so cute?  Once again, I've chosen to work with the coloured version for this project.  For great value be sure to check out the sets in the IT DbyK store.  With one image offered in a variety of styles both coloured and line drawing, plus a choice of sentiments to choose from, you get a significant return for the money you put out.  Clicking on the name or watermark below will take you to the set's location in the store. This set is currently on sale!
Digital Sentiment Details:
  • This great sentiment is one available in the Egg Chick set.
Digital Embellishment Details:
  • The pink accent piece on the front was created using a layer style from Heather Green of HG Graphic Designs.

INSIDE
Digital Sentiment Details:
  • This great sentiment is also from the Egg Lamb set, another of the new Easter sets.  Clicking on the name or watermark below will take you to the set's location in the store. You can also find this set on sale!
OVERALL
Paper Products:
  • Card, image and sentiment base: Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, white.
Digital Paper Products:
  • I've used two digital papers from the Egg Chick set.  Details and link above.
Digital Embellishments:
  • The shapes used for matting in behind the image and sentiment are simple shapes created in Photoshop Elements.
  • The shadows to give each element some depth were created with a layer style,  from Sheila Reid, Pixel Scrapper.
Challenges I am hoping to enter...

Lisa, This is beautiful. I also love working with pre-colored digis...especially when I'm pressed for time, which seems to be a LOT lately. The colors are so "Easter-y" LOL I love it!! Would love to see you link this up to Doodle Pantry's monthly challenge. It's "anything goes" as long as you use a digital image. Or Crafty Creations Challenges--it's Chevrons or stripes this week.

Wonderful colors in this project. I am grateful that you joined us in our Challenge and we have a new one starting today. Please link with us again at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you an inspirational verse as spoken by Jesus to them that believe from John 14:21 and it says, "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." A blessed week to you always.
