It is the start of a new month and that means that it is time for the midway for the latest Scribbles Designs Challenge.
There are two whole weeks left for you to come on over and enter. In case you've missed it, the theme this time around for Challenge #25, is 'Winter Wonderland'. Big, fat, fluffy snowflakes or hard and crunchy. Slush and sleet or flurries and blizzards. In Canada, along with many other nations throughout the world, we are deep in the throes of winter; and as such, we are experiencing snow in a variety of forms. Whether you love it or hate it, for many of us, there is no escaping it. So this month, show us a project featuring snow as the main theme. Whether a light dusting or an avalanche, what will your winter wonderland look like?
Entering is super simple! You do not need to use a Scribbles Designs image; however, if you do, your name gets entered into the draw twice. You can purchase your Scribbles Designs images HERE or you can also find one for a limited time on the challenge blog HERE. Also, be sure to check out our special Freebie Friday posts as it is another great way to build your Scribbles Designs collection. You can find the rest of the rules and information regarding winners in the sidebar on the challenge blog. You have until 9pm PST on February 14th to come over and play with us.

Digital Image Details:
- Snowman Snapshot: Such a cutie. If he looks familiar it is because he is on the 12 Month of Christmas badges. Thanks once again to the generosity of Sandy for allowing me to use her images in our design elements. This image was coloured in digitally and paper pieced with one of my papers (details below). The cloud background was created using a cloud pattern courtesy of Webtreats, Etc.
- I've used it before and I'll use it again! This great sentiment is courtesy of Mudmaven. Don't forget to check out her blog for many awesome freebies.
- The snowflake buttons used as accents are digital elements from Sheila Reid, a designer at Pixel Scrapper.
- While it is a bit difficult to see, I've used 'snowbanks' as a border in behind the main elements. They are from the 'Tis the Season kit designed by Jeanine Baechtold a designer with {Computer} Scrapbook.com, available as a freebie.
- I created a basic shape to sit in behind the main image and used a layer style on it, courtesy of DesignerCow (Mike), available at PHOTOSHOPlayerstyle.com.
- I also applied shadow layer styles to give each element some depth. This style is also courtesy of Sheila Reid.
