Card Design: Imagine That...Mailbox Kitties
Hello everyone.  I'm here today to present my second Imagine That! Digis by Kris project for April.  However, before I get to it I just wanted to share some of what has been happening over at the Imagine That! blog these past few weeks.

Free Stuff

  • Kris has hopped on board the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train for April and has some fabulous free stuff up for grabs.  This month it is all about the sea which is evident by the items in her Reflections set.  Not only do you get all the elements shown in this preview, but you also get six digital papers (6 in. x 6 in.).  The papers are a sampling of her new Nautical papers available in the store now (details below).
  •  Kris is also generously offering up her Water Alpha for free too!
  • To take advantage of either of these freebies, be sure to go to the main blog and check out the originating post that you can find HERE. I don't know how much longer these will be available, so be sure to go and grab them now while you can.  If you do, don't forget to leave Kris some love.

New Sets in the Store

  • Kris has been hard at work creating some great new sets for the store as well.  Respective links can be found below each preview.
  • First up is the set of 6x6 Nautical papers that I referenced above.  You can get all 16 papers for just $2.50 as they are currently on sale (original price $3.00).
  • Kris has created a set that fits well with the nautical theme of the PS BT and her new papers.  The set is called, "My Sailmate".  Now if you are part of the progressive challenge, then you were lucky enough to receive this set for free this month to play in the challenge.  If you'd like to jump on board and join in, you can purchase this set on sale for only $3.00 (original price $4.50).  If you use images from this set and enter into our progressive challenge, you will automatically earn the set for May.
  • Finally, here is a set that is great for any upcoming Mother's Day card or it would even be suitable for a new baby card as well.

Well that is what is new and exciting with Imagine That!  Of course we still have our April challenges going on and you can find the links you need at the bottom of this post.  Right now, it is time to check out my latest project...

Digital Image Details:
  • Mailbox Kitties: Hee, hee.  These kitties are just so sweet.  As usual, I've chosen to work with the coloured version for this project.  For great value be sure to check out the sets in the IT DbyK store.  With one image offered in a variety of styles both coloured and line drawing, plus a choice of sentiments to choose from, you get a significant return for the money you put out.  This set is currently on sale giving you even more value!  Click on the SHOP link if you are a non-EU customer or the EU SHOP link if you reside in the European Union, in order to find this image in the section of the store that you should be shopping in (links are under the set preview).

Digital Sentiment Details:
  • Both of these sentiments were created by Paulette from Create with TLC.  The first one is from a new set that I acquired called, Sweet Sentiments, Birthday Digi Set.  You can find it in the store by clicking on the preview below.  The sentiment I used on the inside is a freebie that I picked up a while back.  For more great freebies, click HERE to go to Paulette's blog and to purchase other sets, click HERE to go to the store.
Paper Products:
  • Card base and matting: Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, cream.
  • Image and sentiment bases: Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, white.
  • Designer Papers are from my stash.  The floral paper is originally from the K & C Company Designer Paper--Best of...florals collection.  The cream/yellowy coloured paper is from the Recollection's All Girl paper pad.  I don't remember where the third paper is from.  Two out of three 'aint bad considering the holes in my memory.
Challenges I am hoping to enter...

Don't Forget to Check out the IT Challenges...
Don't forget that there are two different ways you can link up over on the Imagine That blog.

D.O.T.M. Challenge Click on the image on the left for the current Stamp of the Month Challenge! There are still over two weeks left to enter the challenge.
 Customer Link-Up

Click on the right image for the current use ANY IT! digi challenge!  This challenge is now simply a link up for any creation made with an IT image.  A draw will be made after every 10 submissions.

Well folks, that is it for today. Next week is extremely busy but I'll be popping in here and there.  On top of everything going on, my parents are coming up on Wednesday for a couple days so I'm very excited about that.

Stay tuned for more Imagine That! Digis by Kris creations coming your way soon. along with all my regular features and design team posts.

Until next time,
