Congratulatory Considerations for March

Hello everyone.  If you are new to my blog, this post is based on an idea I had in order to celebrate the successes of all the new people in my life.  Normally this post goes out on the last day of each month, congratulating all my bloggy friends and acquaintances on their successes, anniversaries, milestones, achievements, etc.  I'm a few hours late this month but given that it is Easter weekend, I am hopeful you will forgive me.  Of course, these will be strictly the items that I have come across during the month in my travels to the challenge blogs I have personally entered or are a team member of, or on my visits to personal blogs.  There will be many things I'll miss so please don't take offense if you have achieved a success and you don't find your name listed here.  I wish I had the time to check everyone and everywhere but I'd need a cloning machine to pull it off and I believe human cloning is still illegal.  So for now, if you or someone you know has an achievement and you would like to have it included here, contact me by email before the end of the month or just include the information in the comment section of each 'Congratulatory Considerations' post. 

I am aware of the following reasons for sending out congratulations to members within our community.   So ladies, bask in the glow of the congratulatory candle.  You all deserve the successes you have achieved!  These are listed strictly in the order of when I came across them, not necessarily in any chronological order.
 

LYN--Spyder's Corner

• First off we wished Lyn a happy birthday on March 12th.  
• Quick Cards Made Easy, which is a crafty magazine will be (or has just recently) published a card that a lady designed using one of Lyn's images.  So 'fishing cat' is about to be famous!  You can make him even more famous by buying him, taking him home with you, creating your own card and submitting it to a magazine so he can have another spot in the limelight...okay, okay, I know this isn't a promotional post...moving on...

 SUZE--Craftysuze

• Suze won the following challenges:  All That Stickles, Digi Stamps 4 Joy, Paper Crafting World and at Digi Darla's Challenges for two separate challenges.  Since she used  DD images on her projects, her name was entered for a second draw and she won two separate weeks.  It really does pay to use an image if you have one!  Alright already, I know this isn't a DT post...moving on...
• She was also a winner in part of Beccy's Place Birthday Bash and placed top three over at {PIN}spirational  Challenges. 

NANA CONNIE--My Grammy's Attic

• Congrats to Connie for making the DT for Delicious Doodles.  Word is, this is one incredible design team to be part of.

MANDY--Made By Mandy

• Mandy placed top three in a challenge over at  Jelly Park Challenges as well as being chosen Master Chef over at The Stamping Chef.

DESIRE--Doing Life

• Desire hit the 500 Follower mark on Monday, February 25, 2013 (I presented her with best wishes and a badge earlier this month.  You can check that post out HERE if you'd like).
• She was also part of a successful fair from March 7 to 10.  You can check out her blog for more details.
• She also had top looks over at the following blogs;  Artistic Impressions, Pin and Tack and on two separate occasions over at the Avadares Challenge Blog.
• She won a challenge over at Broken Box Stock. 

ANNA--Cuddlebug Cuties

• Anna was another blog that hit the big 500 Follower mark this month.   (I presented her with best wishes and a badge earlier this month in the same post as I did for Doing Life.  You can check that post out HERE if you'd like).

• Melissa picked up wins over at Tuesday Alchemy and {PIN}spirational Challenges.

DEANNE--Little Bit 'O Paper

• DeAnne won challenges over at:  Word Art Wednesday (at least I think it was WAW), Broken Box Stock, Digi Darla's and the Avadares Challenge Blog.
• I also believe she placed top three over at The Stamping Chef but wasn't able to check to ensure if it was her.

JENNIFER--My Cubby Crafts

• Jennifer was one of the winners in a special draw over at Word Art Wednesday.
  

EM--Em's Many Thoughts

• Em won a GDT spot over at Paper Crafting World for Digi Deserts Fridaze.
• She has also just recently reached 50 followers.  Congrats Em on this first of many milestones.  
• Finally, two more lucky DT's can call Em one of their own:  Beccy Muir's Design Team over at Beccy's Place and Queen Kat's Designs design team over at Queen Kat's Marketplace.

EDWINA--Edwina's Creations

• Edwina won for leaving a comment in a blog hop over at Fresh Brewed Designs.

RINA--Scrapbook Fashionista Designs

• Rina won a challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.        

SNOWBIRD

• Snowbird has picked up a win over at The Stamping Chef.  It is nice to see Snowbird up and running with a gallery so that she can start entering challenges.
• This lucky lady is also headed to Florida for six months of fun and sun.  Lucky lady!  We all hope you have fun and stay safe.

MIAN--Mian's Crafty Corner

• Mian placed in top spots over at the following challenge blogs:  Tuesday Alchemy, The Hybrid Chick, the Avadares Challenge Blog and Whimsical Designs.    
• She also won in a challenge over at Eureka Stamps.

SHERRY--The Button Junkie

• Sherry received an honourable mention over at CASEology.

LISA M--You Made Me Ink

• One of Lisa's amazing cards was chosen as the winning recipe over at Catered Crop and as a result got a guest spot on their blog.

RHONDA--Bumblebee Creations

• One of Rhonda's cute cards was featured over at Fresh Brewed Designs.

JO ANN--Sassy Raggedy

• Jo Ann made top three over at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner, a challenge blog I was fortunate enough to learn about this week.
• She was also an honourable mention over at the Avadares Challenge Blog.

PIA--Pia's Papir og Perler   

• Pia was asked to be a Guest Designer for Catchy Challenges.

SHEA--Glitter and Bonbons

• Shea has had a few guest designer spots this month.  Unfortunately, the only one I know of for sure was over at Digital Delights.          

NICK (HELENE)--Nick's Scrap Shack

• Nick made top 5 over at QKR Stampede and top 3 at Joanna Sheen and ProMarkers.
• She won a Kenny K challenge and one over at Nutcrafters as well.

IKE--Ike's World

• Ike made top three over at Digitally Sweet Challenges and was a TA delight at Tuesday Alchemy.

JULIE--Truly Julie

• Julie has quite an incredible month.  If you have ever seen any of her cards you will definitely understand why.
• First off, Julie won a challenge at Artistic Impressions.
• While she may have only won one challenge (that I am aware of), she was certainly acknowledged for her talent throughout the month by placing in the top tier over at the following blogs:

NAOMI--Creative Bug on the Loose

• Congrats to Naomi for making San's Designs design team! 

VICKY--Crafting-Vicky

• Vicky won a contest over at Melonheadz Illustrating.
• She also won challenges over at QKR Stampede and at Meljen's Designs.
• She is also now on the DT over at Delicious Doodles AND San's Designs.
• She has also had a blog makeover done by Naomi.  Loving the new look Vicky!  Nice and bright, perfect for spring.
• More importantly Vicky has just hit two big events just days apart from each other.  First as of March 28th, she has been blogging for one whole year now.  So, congrats Vicky on this wonderful achievement.  Our world just wouldn't be the same without you a part of it.  You are an inspiration and someone to look up to for so many of us. Happy blogiversary!

• Here is a badge for you for your sidebar if you want it.  It is 200 px wide.

• She has also just reached the 300 follower mark.  It is hard to believe that we just celebrated her 200 follower mark just two short months ago.  Incredible!  If she keeps this up I am going to have to hire an assistant just to make 'best wishes' badges.  Anyone out there know of someone who will come to the frigid white north and work for free?  Yeah, I didn't think so.

As far as my accomplishments for the month have gone...

• It was actually kind of funny.  About three weeks ago, I went over to Digitally Sweet Challenges to check out what the week's challenge theme was at the time.  When I glanced to the left, I happened to see that Ike had placed top three and I got all excited as she is a good bloggy friend and then realized I had placed top three too.  My image was just below hers!
• Actually it has been a fantastic month for me over at Digitally Sweet Challenges.  I placed top three for one design in challenge #24, top three for another in challenge #26, and then in challenge #27 I placed top 3 and picked up the win!
• Over at Paper Crafting World I won the challenge on March 1st and then again on March 22nd.  I also won a digi for leaving a comment during their awesome bloghop.
• I think these two challenge sites rank as my current favourites.  I seem to be having the best luck over at both places!
• Additionally, I was lucky enough to have one of my cards featured over at Fresh Brewed Designs and I won three free digis as a result.
• Last, but certainly not least, I too become a member of San's Designs design team. I think that team has become a Canadian-Scandinavian Co-production. Three of us are Canadians, two are from Sweden and one is from Norway. 

On a bittersweet note...

• In case you haven't heard the doors over at the Avadares Challenge Blog are closing.  While it is most definitely sad to see Teresa and Sara go, I wish the two of them the absolute best on the new roads they each will be travelling.  If you have enjoyed taking part in their challenges, why not take a moment and go over and say goodbye.
