12 Months of Christmas Card Link Up...January Reminder

 

I thought it would be a good idea to remind everyone that there is still time to link up your Christmas and holiday themed cards to qualify to receive the January paper.  If this is the first you are hearing about it then be sure to check out the page at the top of this blog called "The 12 Months of Christmas Card Link Up" or by clicking the badge in the top right corner or HERE.

As a brief refresher, you are invited to come over and link up any Christmas and/or ***holiday themed cards (a definition of what qualifies can be found on the link above) that you create each month throughout this year.  If you link up two different cards a month, you'll be eligible to receive a free holiday themed digital paper.  Additionally, every ***card you submit earns you one chance to win a special digital Christmas kit that I will be working on throughout the year that will include more papers, and probably items such as: frames, buttons, brads, ribbons, wordart creations and other kinds of embellishments.  Each section of the kit will be offered up as a prize and then the whole kit will be offered up as a grand prize.  So for example, if you submit 40 cards across the whole year, you will have 40 chances to win these extra goodies.

Since you have to create holiday cards anyways, why not get some extra goodies for the effort.  You can find all the details you need along with the link up itself by visiting the page I discussed above.  Please note that for those of you who have entered already, I have gone in and added some basic rules that you will want to check out before submitting your links for next month's cards.  They are just the standard rules that you would find part of most challenges, including but NOT limited to: making sure when you enter your project that you mention The 12 Months of Christmas Link-Up in your post with a link back to the appropriate page and also remembering to link directly to your blog post where I can see your creation, and not just the generic link to your blog. As I said, basic rules.  Now if you missed following any of them for any cards you may have linked up already, don't worry about it.  They won't kick in until next month.

I'll be putting together the list of people eligible to receive January's paper sometime this weekend and will post the winners' names some time shortly thereafter.  So far, seven people are eligible and five more will have the chance if they can manage to link up a second card in the next 2 and 1/2 days.  So, if you have made a couple Christmas cards already this month, why not come and link them up and be eligible too?!
