As a quick refresher, each day during the 12 Days of Christmas (Dec. 25th to Jan. 4th), you're going to be given a task to follow. I'll be sending you on a quest to find or provide me with certain facts from the stores or blogs of designers that I love. Then, it is will just be a matter of emailing me the answer to my query and you'll earn a free digital paper.
Since this is a busy time of year for most people, you will have plenty of time to complete the quest. It is completely up to you as to when and how you submit your answers (daily, all at once at the end, or otherwise) AS LONG AS all your answers are sent in no later than January 12th, 2015.
Here is the paper up for grabs today...
This paper is 3600 x 3600 pixels, in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. Today's paper was created using elements from two great designers that I have already introduced during the quest.
The wonderful silhouette is once again an overlay courtesy of Heather Green of HG Graphic Designs. I have used her overlays in three papers thus far and told you a little bit of what she offers on day one of the quest. To refresh yourself, you can click HERE and read more about HG Graphic Designs under the paper preview for that day. The background was created with an overlay from the uber fabulous Sheila Reid, with Pixel Scrapper. I'd definitely have little to draw on if it were not for all the amazing resources available at this incredible site.
Play along each of the 12 days and you'll earn yourself the full set! So, how about we get started with today's clue!!!
On the ninth day of Christmas,
it is time to earn paper number nine.
We're nine days in, just three more to go,
it is time to earn paper number nine.
We're nine days in, just three more to go,
All in all, I think it is going just fine!!!
Task:
Head on over to the Meljen's Designs store and let me know the names of THREE images that have a candy cane it them. Hint: At the top of the page hover your mouse over the THEMES category and then scroll down and click on Holidays & Seasons. You'll then be presented with several more sub categories. Click on the Winter & Christmas section to narrow down your search! There are at least six images to choose from, possibly more!
Click HERE to head there now!
When you come up with a response, send an email to decossesdynamitedoodles {at} yahoo {dot} ca (be sure to replace 'at' and 'dot' with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring up my address in your email program, with the subject heading, "12 Days of Christmas: Day Nine". I've got a bit of DT business to take care for the teams I lead but then I will work on getting out papers for the last three days. Thank you for your continued patience.
Wishing you clear skies ahead for 2015! See you all tomorrow for day number ten!!!
Cheers!

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's cancer issues. I will be praying that everything goes well for her. God bless you and your Mom.
I love all the papers so far Lisa. Hope you mother gets well.
Hope this year is a better year for you.
Pretty! Pretty! :) Love the papers...
Hi Lisa, I think I put the wrong day on my e-mail. Well at least I got the right theme. It is being one of those days. I love the blue and white design. That is a very pretty blue you used. How I can use the sentiment Here comes Santa Clause. Edwina Brown
Lisa, thanks again for this gorgeous paper. So sorry to hear about your Mom's bad news. Will certainly put her on my list for prayers. I do hope your days get better with no more incidents and less pain.
hugs, Ursula
Another very pretty paper. :-)
Sorry to hear you have pain. :-( I am sending healing thoughts for your MuM xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi, Lisa. I hope you are soon feeling improved, and that the pain is greatly alleviated. I'm sorry to hear about your mom, and pray that the treatments are entirely successful, that her surgery goes without a hitch, and that her recovery is rapid. (darling paper!) hugs, de
Lisa, Adding your mother to my prayer list. My husband has gone through 4 melanoma, 2 squamous and over 30 basal cell skin cancer surgeries. He's doing fine, other than checkups every 3 months, due to the power of LOTS of prayers...so I'm going to pray for you and your mom. God does still work miracles!!
**Thanks for a fun daily challenge also.
