Card Design: FBD Blog Candy Challenge Reminder for April

Hello everyone!  It is time to remind you all about the Blog Candy Giveaway Challenge that is going on over at Fresh Brewed Designs. Don't forget, for the whole year in 2014 we will be having ONE blog candy challenge per month. 

There is still time to enter and win in this month's challenge.  Remember this particular challenge is ANYTHING GOES using an FBD image.   

YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW ALL THE RULES TO WIN!  

For each entry, you must: 

• Create a NEW card using an FBD image (Digi or Rubber Stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs).
• Can enter up to 3 times each.
• MUST post CANDY badge (the one up top) on your sidebar, linking it back to Freshly Brewed Challenges and add this blog candy photo below in EACH post with your card, with a link back to the April blog candy challenge post.

Here is a card that I have created to help inspire you...

FRONT

Digital Image Details: 

• Camouflage Chick:  I just love this image and have for the last year.  It was fun to finally be able to use it on a card.  You can find the image in the FBD store by clicking on the image name or watermarks below. 

•  I used Copics to colour in the image and ground it as well.

Digital Sentiment Details: 

• This sentiment is also from Fresh Brewed Designs.  It works perfectly with this image.

Embellishments: 

• The glitter eggs are Crafts brand purchased as part of a little Easter kit at Dollarama.
• The ribbon is also Crafts brand purchased at the same location. 

INSIDE

Digital Image Details: 

• Chick with Bunny Ears: Another fab image available in the store.

 

• Since it was rather tiny, I used coloured pencils to colour in the image.

Digital Sentiment Details: 

• Another Easter freebie I created that I can't seem to find.  Boy I need to start organizing these better! 

 

OVERALL

Paper Products: 

• Card base and matting: Michael's Recollection's Cardstock.
• Designer Papers:   
• The Easter themed patterned paper is Michael's open stock scrapbook paper.
