Card Design: Ike's World Challenge #5...Picture Inspiration

Helloooooooooooooooo and happy Tuesday to you all!  It is time for the latest challenge over at Ike's World Challenges.  The theme for Challenge #5 is picture inspiration.  You can join in with a creation using any kind of medium or style but remember that in order to qualify to win the prize you MUST use an Ike's Art image.  If you don't already have an image and would like to purchase one, check out all the awesome ones available in the store by clicking HERE.  Ike has an amazing and varied selection to choose from and you are sure to find something to suit your needs.

Check out what I made this week... 
General Information:

• I kept the layout pretty simple since the image is so detailed and I wanted it to be the showpiece of the card.

FRONT

Digital Image:

• Cuckoo Clock:  This spectacular and very detailed work of art is available in the store.  Currently, you can find it on the main page under 'My Latest Designs'.  Clicking on the watermark below will take you to the main page of the digital section.

 

Digital Sentiment:

• I just created a sentiment on the front to tie in with the image and lead in to the inside sentiment.

Embellishment: 

• The little 'rhinestones' are actually meant to be ironed on to fabric but with a little glue, they work just as well on paper. 

INSIDE

Digital Sentiment:

• Once again I rely on Paulette for having the perfect sentiment to convey my message.  Life is just too short to sit back and wait for it to happen.  You need to get off your butt, get active and get involved before you find that life has passed you by.  This is another great freebie I picked up over at Create with TLC.  Click HERE to go to Paulette's blog and HERE to go to the store.  Psst...this one is still a freebie and you can click HERE if you are interested in grabbing it.  Just make sure you leave Paulette a thank you if you do so.
