Congratulatory Considerations for April

Hello everyone.  If you are new to my blog, this post is based on an idea I had in order to celebrate the successes of all the new people in my life.  On the last day of each month (or close to it), I will create a post congratulating all my bloggy friends and acquaintances on their successes, anniversaries, milestones, achievements, etc.  Of course, these will be strictly the items that I have come across during the month in my travels to the challenge blogs I have personally entered or are a team member of, or on my visits to personal blogs.  There will be many things I'll miss so please don't take offense if you have achieved a success and you don't find your name listed here.  I wish I had the time to check everyone and everywhere but I'd need a cloning machine to pull it off and I believe human cloning is still illegal.  So for now, if you or someone you know has an achievement and you would like to have it included here, contact me by email before the end of the month or just include the information in the comment section of each 'Congratulatory Considerations' post. 

I am aware of the following reasons for sending out congratulations to members within our community.   So ladies, bask in the glow of the congratulatory candle.  You all deserve the successes you have achieved!  These are listed strictly in the order of when I came across them, not necessarily in any chronological order.

First up, I need to apologize to Heather.  I had this in my list but somehow forgot to add her to last month's post.  So before I start with this month, I will slip it in here...
 
HEATHER--Heather's Coffee Break

• Heather was chosen at the Top Talent Winner for the last week of March at Our Creative Corner.  
• She celebrated a birthday on the fifteenth of April.  

PAULETTE--Create with TLC

• Paulette also celebrated a birthday on the fifteenth. Popular day!

MELISSA--Created By Sunshine HoneyBee

• Melissa picked up a win over at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner.

NAOMI--Creative Bug on the Loose

• Congrats to Naomi for winning an image in the Fiesta Tuesday!!! line up for leaving a comment over at Scribbles Designs.
• She also placed top three in the latest challenge at Scribbles Designs.
• While this isn't a 'congrats' by any means, Naomi has really been struggling with a flare up of her medical condition, so please send healing thoughts her way and if you get the chance, leave a little love on her blog wishing her a speedy return to bloggyland.

KATE--K8's Scrap Corner

• K8 is one of my newest followers and she is from Sweden.  I met her during the San's Designs Blog Hop earlier this month.  When I went over to introduce myself and say thanks for jumping on board the crazy train (well I didn't actually say that, I don't want to scare her right off the bat.  She'll learn how insane I am at the same rate as the rest of you have), I noticed she had already racked up a few wins the very first week of April. She won challenges over at:   Sentimental Sundays, Bearly Mine Challenge, and The WOW Embossing Challenge.   She also won during a blog hop over at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration.  Then when I went to check in towards the end of the month she had picked up wins at:  Stamp 'n Doodle, and Eclectic Ellapu. 
• She has just become a new DT member for Artistic Inspirations Challenges.

JULIE--Truly Julie

• She received a blog award from My Sheri Crafts.
• Julie was also acknowledged for her talent throughout the month by placing in the top tier over at the following blogs:

• Vicky also placed top four over at Raise the Bar with a special card she created for her step mom in memory of the death of her step-memere. She also made top three over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. and at Inspired By Stamping.
• She is also one of the newest DT members for Melonheadz Friends and Flower love Delice AND Fresh Brewed Designs. That is a total of 20 design teams that Vicky, my card making idol is now on. Do I hear 21 calling her name?

MIAN--Mian's Crafty Corner

• Mian was a Pastry Chef over at The Stamping Chef.

MANDY--Made By Mandy

• Mandy was a GDT over at The Stamping Chef.
• She was given an honour award in the Easy as 123 challenge at CDAC with a card she made using an Ike's Art image called Spring Fairy.  Normally I don't go as far as telling you what cards people entered but this image by Ike is so stunning it is worth a mention or three thousand.  You can find it by clicking the People tab in the store.  In fact it is on page six.  In more fact you really need to see this image so here is the watermark of it.  Yes, yes I know this isn't a promotional post but you have to admit this image is just gorgeous!

• Mandy received a digi stamp from Paper Crafting World by entering a draw on my blog during one of the month's Saturday Showcases.
• She also won two Scribbles Designs images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw.  She had good luck over here in April.

DESIRE--Doing Life

• Desire has had another successful month with a win over at:  Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges, which is really cool for me because she used one of my sentiments on the winning card!  She also had a win over at:  Glitter 'n Sparkle.            
• She was the Beary Favourite at Shelly's Images, and placed in the top five over at Eureka Stamps.  She was a top tweet at Songbird Challenges, and placed top 5 with Artistic Inspirations Challenges.  She also placed top three over at Sandy's Crafty Creations.

PATTI--Scrap Close2 the Heart

• Patti won a challenge over at  Digi Stamps 4 Joy and she also picked up some candy over at Fresh Brewed Designs during their April blog hop. 
• She is currently in the process of moving and settling into a new home so let's wish her the best of luck with that too.    

RHONDA--Bumblebee Creations

• Rhonda got a guest DT gig over at Double Click Connections.
• She is also a new member of the new Fresh Brewed Designs digi team as well as The Cutting Cafe.
• Additionally, she  has won some pretty nifty items--a ribbon pack from Gaylynn of NEAT THINGS BOUTIQUE, and a set of stamps from UNITY STAMP CO for entering a draw.  Lucky lady!

GRY--Gry's Kortmakeri

• Gry, who is a fellow DT member over at San's Design, placed top three over at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round.   

NANA CONNIE--My Grammy's Attic

• Congrats to Connie for making the DT for 613 Avenue Create. They are lucky to have her.
• She also won a challenge over at Speedy and Friends.    
• Connie also won a motivational graphic of her choice in my 100th Follower Celebration draw but apparently missed that post because I haven't heard from her--hint, hint!
• Additionally, she made top three at Cards For Men, Created With Love Challenges , The Memory Nest, and Creative Inspirations.  The same day she received the April prize over CI.  Lucky, lucky lady.

PIA--Pia's Papir og Perler   

• Pia has had some great top tier placements this month:

MRS A--It's An Alien Life

• Mrs. A picked up a top three placement over at 613 Avenue Create for some really cool flowers she created and over at Glitter 'n Sparkle Challenge Blog for a different design.

• Shirl, a colleague on my Scribbles Designs team won a challenge over at Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog.    

SAN--San's Pyssel

•  San, who happens to be one of my bosses, picked up a win over at Cupcake Inspirations.

TERESA--Tickell Expressions

• Teresa was one of the winners from Desire's (Doing Life) 500 follower celebration.  However, I just found out she hasn't claimed it yet so it still might be up for grabs if she doesn't get over to Desire's blog by the 15th of May.

BORQNA--Borqna

• Borqna was the winner of the latest challenge at Scribbles Designs.

CHARLENE--Crystal Dolphins Blog

• Charlene placed top three in the latest challenge at Scribbles Designs.
• She also won two Creative Bug Digis images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw although she still hasn't claimed them.  Hint, hint! 

IKE--Ike's World

• Ike was the winner of the special sponsor's prize in the latest challenge at Scribbles Designs.
• She also won three Digi Darla's images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw.

CHRISS--Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou 

• Chriss won two Digi Darla's images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw.

ANNIE a.k.a. Aussie Annie--Memories to Keep

• Annie placed top three over at Digi Darla's and also won three Limited Run images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw. 
• She also placed top three over at Created With Love Challenges.
• Annie was also the lucky winner of three extra images at Digi Darla's just for using a DD image on her project!      
• Update:  Annie also won a CD at Polkadoodles one week and the next week won a download link from them.

EDWINA--Edwina's Creations

• Edwina is now a new member of the Digi DT at Fresh Brewed Designs.
• Additionally, Edwina also received an honour award in the Anything Goes Challenge this past quarter at CDAC. 

ZUB MOMI--Color Paper Scissors 

• Zubaida won three Creative Bug Digis images in my 100th Follower Celebration draw although she still hasn't claimed them.  Another hint, hint!  

DEANNE--Little Bit 'O Paper

• DeAnne received an honour award in the Progressive Challenge this past quarter at CDAC.
• She was also the Top Chef over at The Stamping Chef.
• Her challenge blog has also just celebrated its very first birthday!  So to celebrate, let's wish her and the crew a great one.

JOANN--Sassy Raggedy

• Joann was busy getting ready to move when her one year anniversary happened in December so she decided to celebrate this past month and has some amazing candy up for grabs (for just one more day--until midnight on the 10th).  So in honour of this anniversary...

• Joann is also someone dealing with health issues at present so please send some healing thoughts Joann's way too.  She has had some really difficult medical challenges and as a result had to be hospitalized twice over the last few weeks (she explains the reasons on her blog).  So if you can, think happy and healthy thoughts and send them Joann's way and if you have the time leave her some love on her blog as well. That would be wonderful. 

LISA M-You Made Me Ink

• Lisa and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary on the 13th.  Awesome month to get married in!
• She was part of a big fundraising event that occurred the last weekend of April.  You can read all about her adventures with raising money for Camp Cupcake in my post HERE which also includes links to this worthwhile charity and an amazing recipe for cupcakes (but not the kind you eat--you'll just have to check them out to see for yourself).
• Lisa also won a paper of her choice from my 100th Follower Celebration draw but I think she missed reading that when she congratulated everyone else because she still hasn't claimed it.  Hopefully, she'll see it when she checks out this post?!
• Lisa has also reached an amazing milestone in bloggyland.  She has reached 400 followers through Google Friends Connect.  That is huge and so well deserved.  If you have never been to Lisa's blog you are missing some seriously funny posts, fabulous colouring and some inspirational projects.  I had created the best wishes and badge about two weeks ago in anticipation of her milestone and when finishing up this post for publishing today realized that I had put 300 followers instead of 400.  Doh!!!  Oh well a quick fix and all is right in the badge world. I hope that Lisa is okay with this as I took quite a few liberties with her original header.

CELY--Hawaii Paper Party

• Cely is currently in the process of moving all the way from Hawaii to Connecticut (I believe that is where she is headed) and settling into a new home quite a way away from the old one.  Let's wish her the best of luck with this relocation.     
• At the last minute and another reason this is post is so late going out, I found out my fellow Scribbles Designs DT member Cely has just celebrated two years in bloggyland.  So everyone, join me in celebrating this occasion by wishing Cely a happy blogiversary.

 As far as my accomplishments for this month...

• Like a couple of the ladies listed above, I too become a member of Fresh Brewed Designs new digi design team.  I had been unofficially promoting Heather's images for awhile so I guess it was time to make it official.

So the candle burns brightly for all these wonderful ladies along with those of you who have had accomplishments I'm unfamiliar with.  Don't forget, if you'd like to see an achievement celebrated here next month, contact me before the 31st of May or just include the details in the comment section of the next 'Congratulatory Considerations' post when it comes out.
